| Claudia Jean is a wife, a mother,

A firm believer in the maxim that Seniors Rule! Claudia Jean,
now a senior herself, says that “Age is irrelevant.
A sense of Life is what we crave.” Noting that
“Those chronologically behind us see us as old.
Those ahead of us see us as young,” and that, “We
egocentrically insist that the age we are is the only age
that counts,” Claudia Jean tells us that, “It
is not so grievous that the young disparage the old as it
is that those old enough to know better do so.”
What does this all mean? That as a society, we need to recognize
the value of those older than ourselves: we need to learn
from them, honor them for their wisdom and experience, and
use them as role models in our own aging process. Planning
to age reduces our fear, while aging on purpose gives us a
voice.

it happen? There is no power in denying the process. There
is, however, untold power in embracing your potential at every
